The Q is a San Francisco Bay Area band of professional musicians formed in 2004.

 

They share a mutual love of the blues, R&B and the boogie music played in juke joints on the south side of Chicago and honky-tonks throughout the south.

 

That is where working people met and shook off the days work and their vibrations amplified the night.

Q brings Chicago to the Bay Area

The Contra Costa Times wrote:” Things really heated up when The Q hit the stage at the Alamo Music and Wine Festival”.

 

Their high-energy show is geared to captivate and move the soul of everyone we perform for. People of all ages, color, convictions and creeds love it when Q is in the house, as the dance floor will fill. The roots of blues music support the idiom that Rock and Roll is still very much alive. Some call this adjective “Americana”. We call it The Q.
